A motorcycle that old is a never ending story. Working on the motorcycle became a metaphor for working on ourselves. Patience, skill, and resilience were gradually expanded thanks to various challenges and setbacks. It strained our nerves, willpower, and wallets – but in the end, it was one of the best experiences of our lives.
We found the necessary knowledge and the right place to work on our motorcycle at Loose Screw in Dachau. As a member of the creative workshop, you can work on your own machine with guidance. Additionally, Enrico is always happy to answer any questions about motorcycles, assist with the work, or steps in himself if you get stuck.

Almost nothing on this bike was left untouched. The rear frame was shortened and a new seat pan built to match; the engine was dry-ice blasted, repainted and reassembled; frame, swingarm and small parts went out for black powder-coating. A Racetronic ECU, a new wiring harness and a heat-wrapped 3-in-1 exhaust modernised the running gear, while powder-coated rims on Continental TKC 80 tyres set the stance. The full list of work is below — the short version is a stripped-back, dependable scrambler that earned its first trouble-free miles in 2022.
